The Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) has announced a partnership with SciAps, Inc. and Viking Motorsports. They will feature a ReMA-branded car in the June 14-16, 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series at Iowa Speedway’s NASCAR Summer Weekend. “We’re excited about this partnership with SciAps,” said ReMA President Robin Wiener. “Recycled materials are essential for creating iconic parts of a race, from the cars we drive to the roads we drive on. This is just the start of our efforts to highlight the importance of recycled materials in everyday life.”
Besides the June 14 event, ReMA will also be featured at races in Nashville, Chicago, Pocono, Darlington, Atlanta, and Watkins Glen. More opportunities will be added in the future. “We are thrilled to work with ReMA and highlight the role of recycled materials in motorsports,” said SciAps CEO Don Sackett, also the Founder of Viking Motorsports. “Our technology is vital in the recycled materials industry. This partnership showcases sustainable practices in products and industries, including motorsports.” SciAps, Inc., based in Boston, specialises in portable analytical instruments. Their X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and laser-based (LIBS) analyzers are used in many industries, including recycled materials, metals, mining, and batteries. In April 2024, at their annual convention in Las Vegas, ReMA unveiled its new name, brand, and colour palette, reflecting the identity and daily activities of the recycled materials industry.
