ARIX Technologies has officially launched its Canadian subsidiary and established operations in Alberta, expanding its presence in North America and strengthening its support for energy, industrial and infrastructure operators across Canada.
The expansion is aimed at helping operators improve asset reliability, safety and inspection effectiveness through robotic inspection technologies and digital asset integrity solutions. The launch is supported by Northreach Capital, formerly NGIF Capital, and Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA), whose investments and funding have supported the commercialisation and deployment of ARIX technologies in the US and Canadian energy sectors.
VENUS Robotic Inspection Technology Introduced in Canada
As part of its Canadian expansion, ARIX is introducing its latest VENUS robotic inspection system. The technology collects data through Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC), Real-Time Radiography (RTR) and Remote Visual Inspection (RVI).
Delivered as a managed service, VENUS is designed to improve inspection speed, coverage, safety and data quality across critical industrial assets while reducing operational disruption. Inspection data is made available through ARIX's HELIOS asset integrity software platform, which provides interactive access to inspection results and asset condition information to support maintenance and integrity management decisions.
The expansion comes as industrial operators increasingly seek scalable inspection solutions that can improve asset coverage and reduce operational risk.
"Establishing a permanent presence in Alberta is a natural next step for ARIX," said Craig Malloy, CEO of ARIX Technologies. "Canada is home to some of the world's most innovative energy and industrial operators. With support from organizations like Northreach Capital and ERA, we've been able to bring transformative inspection technologies to market and work more closely with customers across the region. We are excited to build our Canadian team and supporting operators as they modernize their integrity management programs."
Support from Canadian Industry and Innovation Partners
ARIX said it has worked with organisations including Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) and Irving Oil through its growing Canadian operations. These engagements reflect the adoption of robotic inspection technologies by operators seeking safer and more data-driven approaches to maintenance and asset integrity management.
Northreach Capital's investment in ARIX aligns with its focus on supporting technologies intended to improve energy system performance and competitiveness.
"ARIX represents exactly the type of high-impact technology company we are committed to supporting," said John Adams, Founder, CEO, and General Partner of Northreach Capital. "Their robotic inspection solutions address critical industry challenges while helping operators improve asset knowledge, efficiency, and performance. We are proud to support ARIX's expansion into Canada and excited to see the company's continued growth across the country."
ARIX has also received $3 million in funding support from ERA to advance the deployment and commercialisation of its inspection technologies in Alberta.
"ARIX's decision to establish operations in Alberta highlights the province's role as a destination for innovation. We are proud to support technologies that bring economic growth, create skilled jobs, and help industrial operators access better, more actionable data from their critical assets," said Justin Riemer, CEO of ERA.
With its Canadian subsidiary and Alberta operations now established, ARIX aims to support customers across the country's energy, petrochemical, power generation and wider industrial sectors.
