Intertek has secured a multi-year contract with Santos to provide inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT) and asset integrity management support services across Santos’ Australian assets.
The agreement further strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two companies and reinforces Intertek’s position in the Australian asset integrity and inspection services market.
Under the contract, Intertek will deliver a range of inspection and integrity management solutions aimed at supporting the safe and efficient operation of industrial assets and equipment. The scope includes non-destructive testing services alongside asset management practices such as risk-based inspection and corrosion management.
Asset integrity management and NDT services play a critical role in identifying defects and irregularities at an early stage, enabling operators to reduce risks associated with equipment damage, operational inefficiencies and in-service failures. The integration of ongoing inspection and integrity management processes supports more informed operational and maintenance decisions across industrial facilities.
The contract award also highlights the role of Intertek’s Australian network of inspectors and technicians, supported by the company’s digital inspection platform, Intertek AWARE, which is designed to streamline inspection and asset integrity workflows.
