Evident Inspection Technologies is set to present its latest non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions for the aerospace sector at Farnborough International Airshow 2026. The company will exhibit in Hall 0, Stand 0660, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore inspection technologies designed for both aircraft manufacturing and maintenance applications.

Evident’s portfolio spans a broad range of aviation inspection requirements, including eddy current testing for aluminium airframe structures, phased array ultrasonic inspection of advanced composite materials, and remote visual inspection (RVI) solutions for comprehensive jet engine assessments.

As aircraft inspection programs become increasingly complex, inspectors are often required to work across multiple NDT methods. Evident’s latest technologies have been developed with a focus on versatility, usability, and performance in demanding aerospace environments, helping inspection teams improve efficiency while maintaining high inspection standards.

Among the technologies being highlighted at the event is the IPLEX One Videoscope, designed for remote visual inspection of confined areas such as jet engines, turbine assemblies, and internal aircraft components. The system features Swoptix multiview optics, enabling inspectors to switch between near and far focus as well as direct and side views without removing the probe. Integrated 3D measurement capabilities allow dimensional data to be captured during inspection, reducing the need for repeated examinations.

Also featured will be the OmniScan X4 Phased Array Flaw Detector, which combines phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), Total Focusing Method (TFM), and Phase Coherence Imaging (PCI) in a portable platform. The system is designed to support the detection and characterization of defects such as delaminations, cracks, corrosion, and other structural anomalies commonly encountered in aerospace components and airframes.

In addition, Evident will showcase its latest developments in eddy current and eddy current array technologies, supporting the inspection of metallic structures and components where surface and near-surface defect detection is critical.

The company’s participation at Farnborough Airshow 2026 reflects the growing role of advanced NDT technologies in ensuring aircraft safety, structural integrity, and maintenance efficiency across the aviation industry.

Visitors attending the event will be able to engage directly with Evident’s aerospace inspection specialists and experience hands-on demonstrations of the company’s latest inspection solutions.
