Position Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle for storage tank, piping, NDT inspection, and integrity solutions. Acting as a key representative of the organization, the individual will identify new business opportunities, develop long-term customer relationships, and deliver tailored inspection, integrity assessment, and compliance solutions. The role combines technical knowledge of tank and piping integrity with strategic sales execution to support business growth and strengthen market presence within the Oil & Gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the Sales Manager role in accordance with the company’s sales process.
- Generate and achieve sales and revenue targets by increasing customer satisfaction and market share.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Build a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Forecast and track sales performance for assigned accounts and maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Achieve targeted market presence and gather market intelligence.
- Evaluate market trends and competitive information to identify factors influencing current and future sales growth and profitability.
- Prepare quotations and proposals and support sales execution activities.
- Provide after-sales support to customers.
- Participate in client events, industry conferences, and networking activities.
- Support clients through project execution, reporting, and post-assessment phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or a proven track record within a relevant industry.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a technical customer-facing role within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including EEMUA, API, NDT, and NACE.
Requirements:
- Strong negotiation, listening, and questioning skills.
- Ability to understand how products, services, and resources can be combined to create tailored Customer Value Propositions (CVPs).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for business purposes.
