Position Summary:

A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Level II NDT Technician based in Louisville, Kentucky, or South Point, Ohio. The role involves performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections in accordance with applicable procedures, customer specifications, and industry standards. The technician will be responsible for setting up and operating inspection equipment, interpreting inspection results, preparing accurate documentation, and supporting both field and shop inspection operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Level II NDT inspections using applicable methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT), and/or Radiographic Testing (RT).
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
  • Interpret inspection results and evaluate indications.
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and associated records.
  • Work closely with supervisors, quality teams, and customers.
  • Support both field and shop inspection operations as required.
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current Level II NDT certification in one or more inspection methods.
  • Previous experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections.
  • Strong understanding of NDT procedures, inspection techniques, and applicable standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple NDT certifications.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, refinery, or power generation environments.
  • TWIC card and OSHA certifications.
  • Rope access certification, Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), or other advanced NDT experience.

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability.
  • Must be local to Louisville, KY, or South Point, OH, or willing to relocate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
