Flowfinity, a no-code process automation platform, has helped AXS NDT Australia modernise its regulated inspection and testing workflows, significantly accelerating report delivery while improving accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness across non-destructive testing (NDT) operations.
AXS NDT Australia is a provider of non-destructive testing, hydrostatic inspection, and field services to the mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. Operating in highly regulated environments, the company is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and must maintain precise, compliant, and fully traceable inspection records across multiple NDT methods.
As inspection volumes increased, legacy manual and semi-digital workflows began to create delays and bottlenecks in reporting, increasing the risk of errors and slowing turnaround times. To modernise operations without disrupting established inspection practices, AXS NDT selected Flowfinity to digitise and automate its inspection data capture and reporting processes.
Using Flowfinity’s no-code app builder, AXS NDT deployed custom inspection and reporting applications tailored to individual NDT test methods and regulatory requirements. The platform now supports nearly all of the company’s reporting needs, covering 10 different NDT test types.
Field technicians use the custom applications to capture structured inspection data, photographs, and notes directly at job sites, including remote locations. Reports are generated instantly in standardised, audit-ready formats, eliminating manual transcription and re-entry while improving consistency and compliance.

According to the company, improved report quality and consistency have been well received by clients, while faster turnaround times have contributed directly to new business opportunities in competitive industrial markets.
Looking ahead, AXS NDT plans to extend its use of Flowfinity into asset and inventory management, calibration tracking, and quality assurance automation. The company is also exploring integration with AI-driven tools to support automated data validation, report consolidation, and inspection summarisation to further strengthen compliance and audit workflows.
