Apave Group has finalized the acquisition of Singapore-based GEI, a specialist in industrial inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), and metrology/calibration services, further expanding its presence across Southeast Asia.
The acquisition follows the agreement announced by both companies on May 11, 2026, and aligns with Apave’s AMPLIFY 2030 strategic plan, which focuses on accelerating growth and strengthening the company’s footprint in high-priority international markets.
For the NDT sector, the transaction represents a significant expansion of Apave’s technical capabilities and regional reach. GEI brings more than 200 employees and an established operational presence in Singapore, Indonesia, and India, enhancing Apave’s position in Southeast Asia, where the Group now employs more than 600 people.
The integration of GEI’s expertise in industrial inspection and advanced non-destructive testing strengthens Apave’s ability to support asset integrity, safety, and operational performance across multiple industrial sectors. The acquisition also expands the Group’s metrology and calibration capabilities, providing customers with a broader portfolio of technical services.
According to Apave, GEI’s capabilities will complement its existing services and enable the company to deliver more comprehensive solutions across the industrial value chain. The combined expertise is expected to support industries where inspection, testing, and asset reliability are critical, including energy, maritime, infrastructure, and process industries.
The addition of GEI further reinforces Apave’s commitment to expanding its inspection and testing services in growth markets while enhancing its ability to address increasingly complex technical and operational challenges faced by industrial operators.
