NDE Assistant

Position Summary:-

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDE Assistant in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports certified NDT technicians in executing non-destructive testing procedures across client locations in refining, petrochemical, power, nuclear, aerospace, and municipal sectors.

Responsibilities:-

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and carrying out inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Prepare, clean, organize, and transport materials, tools, and testing equipment to and from job sites.
• Support radiation safety practices and assist in securing work zones for radiographic testing.
• Perform general support labor including rigging, lifting, and setting up access equipment.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and associated operational documentation as directed.
• Comply with site-specific protocols, client safety regulations, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.

Qualifications Requirements:-

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings and background checks.
• Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in field environments (confined spaces, elevated areas, variable weather).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver via ladders and stairs, and work flexible or extended schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Previous exposure to NDT, construction, or industrial plant environments.
• Basic understanding of NDT methods and terminology.
• Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry safety certifications.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and equipment.
