Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician (RT/MT/PT/UT)

Position Summary:-

Acuren is seeking a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician (RT/MT/PT/UT) to join its team in Bensenville, IL. The role is responsible for executing NDT inspections, setting up and calibrating testing equipment, establishing examination techniques, evaluating inspection results per applicable standards, and documenting findings.

Responsibilities:-

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment.
• Execute inspection tasks using UT, MT, PT, or RT techniques to ensure material quality and locate defects.
• Apply technical testing criteria according to client specifications and relevant industry codes.
• Interpret radiograph films, digital readouts, CRT screens, conductivity gauges, and visual inspection indications.
• Generate and organize structured technical inspection reports.
• Carry out specialized non-destructive evaluations and oversee/instruct junior crew members as needed.

Qualifications Requirements:-

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Level II certification in UT, MT, PT, or RT.
• Proven background in NDT methodologies, tool handling, and inspection procedures.
• Demonstrated competency in executing NDT methods and interpreting evaluation data.
• Technical writing skills for report generation.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Some college education or technical degree.
