Phased Array NDT Level II Technician

Position Summary:

• Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is seeking full-time Phased Array (PAUT) NDT Level II Technicians to support its ATS location in Greenville, South Carolina.
• The ideal candidates will already reside in the Upstate Region of South Carolina or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.
• The PAUT NDT Level II Technicians will perform examinations of materials in accordance with established procedures, codes, standards, and specifications. The role also involves working with department managers and clients to determine the scope of work and priorities while supporting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Maintain thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods for which they are qualified.
• Exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training (OJT) and provide guidance to trainees.
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine the scope of work and work priorities.
• Support efforts to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare written instructions for examinations.
• Organize and report examination results.
• Work independently while supporting other team members.
• Perform other job-related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods for which the technician is qualified.
• Ability to perform PAUT examinations in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Ability to prepare written instructions and organize and report examination results.
• Ability to work independently and support team members.
• Ability to provide on-the-job training and guidance to trainees as assigned.
• Ability to work effectively with department managers and clients to determine work scope and priorities.

• The position is based at the ATS location in Greenville, SC.
