Position Summary:
TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and qualified, safety-driven NDT/NDE Technician to serve as a Level II Radiographer based out of the Reno/Sparks, NV area. The role involves performing Non-Destructive Testing and inspection services at various client sites and field office locations. This position requires a minimum of 9 months (1,575 hours) of direct field radiographic operations experience, with candidates expected to deliver high standards of data accuracy, quality, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable codes.
- Accurately interpret, evaluate, and document test results using proper forms, digital systems, or reporting platforms.
- Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
- Calibrate and operate NDT equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding job scope, access, and results.
- Maintain detailed and timely records including reports, time sheets, and safety documentation.
- Ensure proper radiation safety practices, including the use of dosimetry and area barricading.
- Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
- Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 9 months (1,575 hours) of experience directly associated with field radiographic operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
- Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
- Ability to provide documentation to obtain one or multiple TEAM Level II Qualifications/Certifications under TEAM's written practice schema.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to report results to peers, clients, and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies.
- Advanced certifications such as API 510/570/653, CWI, or AMPP.
- Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP or State Industrial Radiographer Card.
- Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software.
- Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
- Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Sufficient mobility to maneuver in refinery/plant environments, including accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Sufficient clarity of speech, hearing, vision, and manual dexterity to communicate, inspect, and complete routine field and reporting duties.
- Ability to travel, work extended hours, extended shifts, weekends, and handle alternative work schedules.
- Ability to operate in severe field environments, including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather/climate conditions.

- Anticipated Compensation: $70,720.00 – $87,360.00 per year (Actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and geography).
