Ultrasound Application Expert

Position Summary:-

Eddyfi Technologies is seeking an Ultrasound Application Expert for its ET/UT product line based at its offices in Villebon-sur-Yvette (Paris area), France. The role acts as a primary technical reference for both internal teams and external customers, supporting sales operations, executing feasibility tests, delivering technical training, and providing field expertise in UT/PAUT technologies.

Responsibilities:-

• Assist sales teams with technical demonstrations, client visits, and technical inquiries regarding product capabilities.
• Analyze customer requirements to recommend standard products or collaborate with the custom applications team for specialized solutions.
• Conduct technical feasibility tests to ensure proposed solutions comply with client requirements and performance standards.
• Deliver hands-on product training and clear instructional materials to clients.
• Provide post-sales technical support, including site troubleshooting and client issue resolution.
• Partner with marketing to produce technical content (blogs, webinars, workshops) and present at industry conferences.
• Oversee semi-custom product projects by coordinating cross-functional teams to meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Support production teams by refining technical documentation and facilitating smooth product handovers.
• Provide field feedback and application testing data to R&D for ongoing product refinement.

Qualifications Requirements:-

• Technical/scientific diploma (Bac+2 to Bac+5 in mechanical engineering, physical measurements, or materials science).
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated hands-on UT/PAUT field inspection experience in industrial settings.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving, team collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to train technical staff and author detailed technical reports.
• Availability for frequent travel, primarily across EMEA & APAC regions.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• COFREND Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2 or Level 3 certification (ISO 9712).
