RT Assistant

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking an RT Assistant for operations in Orange, TX. The role is responsible for supporting Radiographers and certified technicians in executing non-destructive testing, performing equipment calibrations, transporting testing gear, and logging inspection evaluation results according to written procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and transport Nondestructive Test equipment across job sites.
• Assist Radiographers with the calibration and verification of NDT equipment prior to testing.
• Support Radiographers in performing tests to ensure component quality and detect defects using NDT inspection techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record test inspection results.
• Carry equipment, assist in general NDT procedures, and execute other job-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications Requirements:-

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean motor vehicle driving record compliant with company standards for driving company vehicles.
• Ability to pass background checks to meet federal and state Trustworthy & Reliable certification criteria.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Some college education.
• Prior technical background or coursework.
