NDT MT/PT/ UTT Tech

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking a certified NDT Level II Technician (MT/PT/UTT) to support field operations in Ponca City, OK. The role involves performing non-destructive evaluations, calibrating testing instruments, interpreting data to detect material defects, and guiding assistants and Level I technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate NDT equipment for field inspections.
• Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Ultrasonic Thickness (UTT) testing according to specifications and safety codes.
• Apply technical testing criteria, interpret visual indicators and digital readouts, and evaluate structural defects.
• Prepare, organize, and submit formal technical inspection reports.
• Supervise, guide, and support Level I technicians and NDT assistants during on-site operations.

Qualifications Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Level II Certification in MT, PT, and UTT (with documented classroom hours and prior cert records).
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid TWIC card.
• Based in or near Ponca City, OK (within approximately 40 miles).
• Ability to travel as needed for job assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college education or technical degree.
• 40-Hour Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP Card.
• State Industrial Radiographer Card or Trainee card.
