Visual Testing (VT) Level - I

Course Description:

Our Visual Testing (VT) Level I Certification Course is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform visual examinations in compliance with the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A based employer's written practice. This comprehensive course includes classroom training, examinations, and certification to ensure that successful candidates receive a VT Level I qualification.

Course Objectives:

The primary objectives of this course are to:

• Provide comprehensive classroom training on Visual Testing (VT) techniques, principles, and applications.
• Prepare participants for the VT Level I examination and certification process.
• Certify successful candidates as VT Level I professionals who can conduct visual examinations on relevant test jobs, following applicable NDT written instructions, under the supervision of an NDT Level II or NDT Level III individual.

Course Content:

Our VT Level I Certification Course covers the following essential topics:

• Introduction and Definitions: An overview of Visual Testing principles, concepts, and terminology.
• Advantages and Limitations: Understanding the benefits and constraints of Visual Testing in various industries.
• VT Equipment: Familiarization with the tools and instruments used in Visual Testing.
• Employer-Defined Applications: Tailoring Visual Testing procedures to specific industry applications.
• Visual Testing to Specific Procedures: Practical training on performing visual examinations based on established procedures.

Course Duration:

The course is conducted over two days:

• Training: 1 day (8 hours)
• Examination: 1 day (5 hours)

This course is highly recommended for personnel such as Technicians, Inspectors, and others working in industries like oil refineries, petrochemical plants, ship construction, and related fields where Visual Testing plays a critical role in quality assurance and inspection.

Pre-requirements:

Participants are required to meet the following prerequisites:

• Valid vision certificate.
• Minimum experience of 70 hours in Visual Testing and a total of 130 hours in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the examination, participants will receive the following certifications:

• ASNT Training Certificate
• VT Level I Certificate (Valid for 5 years)

Course Materials and Equipment:

• We provide participants with the necessary course materials and equipment to facilitate their learning and practical training. These include Course Notes, Magnifiers, Calipers, Gauges, Blocks, and Training Specimens.

Class Capacity:
