UTWelds Nozzle and Node Level 2

Welcome to the UTWelds Nozzle and Node Level 2 course! This course is designed for individuals who are interested in becoming certified to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on welded nozzles and nodes using Ultrasonic Testing (UT) procedures.

Upon completion of this course, you will have demonstrated competence in the following areas:

• Selecting the appropriate Ultrasonic technique for the test method to be used
  
• Defining the limitations of application of the testing method
• Translating NDT codes, standards, specifications, and procedures into NDT instructions adapted to the actual working conditions
• Setting up and verifying equipment settings
• Performing and supervising tests
• Interpreting and evaluating results according to applicable standards, codes, specifications, or procedures
• Preparing written instructions for Ultrasonic testing
• Carrying out and supervising all tasks at or below level 2
• Providing guidance for personnel at or below level 2
• Reporting the results of Ultrasonic tests

By the end of this course, you will have the necessary knowledge and skills to become certified as an Ultrasonic Level 2 technician for testing welded nozzles and nodes. This certification will demonstrate your competence to perform NDT according to UT procedures, and to interpret and evaluate results in compliance with applicable standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
