• Select the appropriate NDT technique for the specific test method
• Define the limitations of the testing method's application
• Adapt NDT codes, standards, specifications, and procedures into tailored NDT instructions for specific working conditions
• Set up and verify equipment settings
• Perform and supervise tests
• Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes, specifications, or procedures
• Prepare written NDT instructions
• Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below Level II
• Guide personnel at or below Level II
• Report the results of non-destructive tests

Training Duration:

The training duration for PCN UT Level II varies based on your previous certification and training path. The options are as follows:

• PCN UT Level II (for candidates who already hold Level I): 80 hours of training
• PCN UT Level II (for candidates seeking direct Level II without prior Level I): 120 hours of training
• Additional SNT-TC-1A training: 80 hours
• For candidates interested in training in multiple sectors, a 5-day training and examination program is required.

Work Experience Requirement:

• To obtain PCN Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing, a minimum of 9 months of supervised work experience is required for candidates who already hold Level I certification. For candidates seeking direct Level II without prior Level I, 12 months of supervised work experience is required.
• Please note that the work experience duration is based on a nominal 40-hour workweek or the legal workweek in your region.
