Are you looking to enhance your Ultrasonic Testing (UT) skills in specific product sectors? Look no further than Lavender International! We offer comprehensive courses that cater to your specific needs and requirements.

For Welds, we offer UT80, a ten-day course suitable for SNT Level 2 Direct that spans 80 hours, and UT120, a fifteen-day course suitable for PCN Level 2 Direct that spans 120 hours. We also provide UT24, a three-day course covering critical sizing to UT Welds Level 2, suitable for PCN/SNT Direct as an initial certification, UT40, a five-day course for UT Spot Welds suitable for SNT Level 2, and a four-day course, Supplementaries-UT40, for Nozzle & Node at Level 2.

For Castings, we offer UT80, a ten-day course suitable for SNT Level 2 Direct that spans 80 hours, and UT120, a fifteen-day course suitable for PCN Level 2 Direct that spans 120 hours. Similarly, for Wrought Products (Forgings), we offer UT80, a ten-day course suitable for SNT Level 2 Direct that spans 80 hours, and UT120, a fifteen-day course suitable for PCN Level 2 Direct that spans 120 hours.

Additionally, we offer a four-day training course and one-day exam for candidates who hold Welds and wish to undertake an additional category of Castings or Forging.

For Thickness & Lamination Checking (Plate Testing), we offer UT40, a five-day course for UT Plate Testers suitable for PCN/SNT Level 2 Direct that spans 40 hours.

Our Ultrasonic Level 2 training covers both general theory and sector-specific theory. You will learn about the principles of Ultrasonic Testing, equipment, testing techniques, calibration of testing systems, detectability of defects, factors affecting the performance of the Ultrasonic test, codes of practice, and standards. You will also be trained on conducting and recording the test, interpretation of test results, and product technology theory.

At Lavender International, we provide training suitable for PCN/EN473/ISO 9712 Levels 1, 2, and 3, and ASNT Level 3. Alternatively, we can provide training suitable for candidates working in an employer-written practice based on SNT-TC-1A; EN4179, and NAS410. Ultrasonic Testing is separated into three specific product sectors for certification purposes, Welds, Wrought Products (Forgings), and Castings.
