"Course Description: Ultrasonic Testing Plate Tester Certification (Level 2)

This course provides certification for individuals seeking competence in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) according to Ultrasonic Testing procedures. Participants will learn the principles and practices of Ultrasonic Testing to ensure accurate results and compliance with applicable standards, codes, specifications or procedures.

The Ultrasonic Testing Plate Tester Certification (Level 2) course covers the following topics:

• Selection of the appropriate Ultrasonic technique for the test method to be used
  
• Limitations of application of the testing method
• Translation of NDT codes, standards, specifications and procedures into NDT instructions adapted to the actual working conditions
• Set up and verification of equipment settings
• Performance and supervision of tests
• Interpretation and evaluation of results according to applicable standards, codes, specifications or procedures
• Preparation of Ultrasonic written instructions
• Supervision of all tasks at or below level 2
• Guidance for personnel at or below level 2
• Reporting of results of Ultrasonic tests

Upon completion of this course, participants will be certified as Ultrasonic Testing Plate Testers (Level 2) and will be able to demonstrate competence in the above-mentioned areas. This certification enables individuals to provide a high level of service to their employers and customers, while also ensuring compliance with industry standards."
