Lavender International offers a comprehensive range of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) courses for candidates at different certification levels, with specialized training available for Welds, Castings, and Wrought Products.

Welds Specific

Our Welds Specific courses include UT40, a 5-day course suitable for SNT Level 1 (40 Hours), and UT56, a 7-day course suitable for PCN Level 1 (56 Hours). Refreshers courses are also available for UT Welds, such as UT4, UT8, UT16, and UT20 for re-sits and recertifications.

Castings Specific

Our Castings Specific courses include UT40, a 5-day course suitable for SNT/PCN Level 1 (40 Hours), and UT56, a 7-day course suitable for PCN Level 1 (56 Hours). Refreshers courses for UT Castings are also available for re-sits and recertifications.

Wrought Products Specific (Forgings)

Our Wrought Products Specific (Forgings) courses include UT40, a 5-day course suitable for SNT/PCN Level 1 (40 Hours), and UT56, a 7-day course suitable for PCN Level 1 (56 Hours). Refreshers courses for UT Forgings are also available for re-sits and recertifications.

Ultrasonic Level 1 training

Our Ultrasonic Level 1 training covers general theory such as Principles of Ultrasonic Testing, Equipment, Testing techniques, Calibration of testing systems, as well as sector-specific theory such as Detectability of defects, Factors affecting the performance of the Ultrasonic Test, Codes of practice and standards, Conducting and recording the test.

At Lavender International, we provide UT training suitable for PCN GEN BS EN ISO 9712 Levels 1, 2, and 3, ASNT Level 3. We also offer training that is suitable for candidates working to an employer written practice based on SNT-TC-1A, EN4179, and NAS410.
