Course Objective:

This comprehensive course aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills in Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) to meet the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712, based on the candidate's preference. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a Level I qualification, enabling them to conduct liquid penetrant examinations under the supervision of an NDT Level II or NDT Level III professional, in accordance with applicable NDT written instructions.

Course Duration:

The course duration varies based on the certification body chosen:

• ASNT: 1-day training (8 hours), 1-day exam (6 hours)
• PCN: 2-day training (16 hours), 1-day exam (6 hours)

Who Should Attend:

• This course is designed for technicians, inspectors, and personnel working in industries such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, ship construction, and other fields where Non-Destructive Testing is crucial.

Pre-requirements:

ASNT:

• Valid vision certificate
• Minimum experience of 70 hours in PT and a total of 130 hours in NDT

PCN:

• Valid vision certificate
• Minimum 1 month of experience in PT

Certification:

Upon successful completion, participants will receive the following certificates:

• ASNT: Training certificate; Level I certificate (valid for 5 years)
• PCN: Training certificate; Level I certificate issued by BINDT (valid for 5 years)

Course Notes and Equipment:

• Course materials and equipment will be provided, including course notes, cleaner, penetrant, light, blocks, and training specimens.

Class Capacity:

• To ensure a focused and productive learning environment, each batch will have a maximum of 10 participants.
