Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Level - I

Course Objective:

This comprehensive course aims to provide participants with classroom training, examination, and certification for Eddy Current Testing (ECT) Level I qualification, adhering to the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A based employer's written practice. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Level I certificate, enabling them to conduct eddy current examinations on relevant test jobs, following applicable NDT written instructions under the supervision of an NDT Level II or NDT Level III professional.

• Electromagnetic Theory Relevant to Eddy Current Testing (ECT)

• Selection of Inspection Parameters
• Readout Mechanisms in Eddy Current Testing (ECT)
• Laboratory Demonstrations

Course Duration:

• Training: 4 days (40 hours)
• Exam: 1 day (6 hours)

Who Should Attend:

• This course is designed for technicians, inspectors, and personnel working in industries such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, ship construction, and other fields where Non-Destructive Testing is crucial.

Pre-requirements:

• Valid vision certificate
• Minimum experience of 210 hours in ECT and a total of 400 hours in NDT

Certification:

• Upon successful completion, participants will receive an ASNT Training certificate and a Level I certificate, which will be valid for 5 years.

Course Notes and Equipment:

• To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, we provide course notes, instruments, probes, calibration blocks, and training specimens for practical exercises.

Class Capacity:
