Course Description
Are you an NDT operator, inspector or technician? Do you want to enhance your practical application of eddy current testing techniques and instructions for detecting flaws in cast and wrought product, identifying materials and properties, measuring coating thickness, testing tubes and welds, and inspecting aerospace materials, components, and structures? If so, this course is perfect for you!
What will you learn?
The course covers eddy current testing techniques for surface and bore inspection, depending on the sector selected. Certification is available for the following sectors:
- Welds
- Tubes
- Aerospace structures
- The course is supported by examinations that comply with BS EN ISO 9712.

By the end of the course, you will have gained the following knowledge and skills:
- The ability to detect flaws in components according to the selected sector
- The ability to write clear and concise inspection instructions and test reports
- The ability to meet the syllabus requirements of CSWIP and PCN Level 2.
