Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM), Level - I

Course Objective:

This comprehensive course aims to provide participants with classroom training, examination, and certification for ACFM Level I qualification, in accordance with the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A based employer's written practice. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a Level I certificate, granting them formal eligibility to conduct ACFM examinations on relevant test jobs, following applicable NDT written instructions under the supervision of an NDT Level II or NDT Level III professional.

• Introduction to Electromagnetic Testing
• Electromagnetic Theory, ACFM Theory
• Types of ACFM Probes and Their Operation
• Factors Affecting Probe Selection
• Instrument Operation and Choosing the Right Instrument for Specific Applications
• Scanning Techniques for Detection
• Signal Interpretation to Identify Relevant Indications

Course Duration:

• Training: 4 days (40 hours)
• Exam: 1 day (6 hours)

Who Should Attend:

• This course is designed for technicians, inspectors, and personnel working in industries such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, ship construction, and other fields where Non-Destructive Testing is crucial.

Pre-requirements:

• Valid vision certificate
• Minimum experience of 210 hours in ACFM and a total of 400 hours in NDT

Certification:

• Upon successful completion, participants will receive an ASNT Training certificate and a Level I certificate, which will be valid for 5 years.

• To facilitate comprehensive learning, we provide course notes, instruments, probes, calibration blocks, and training specimens for hands-on practical exercises.

Class Capacity:
