The Buffalo team finished reviewing the best technology last spring in order to broaden our customer offerings. We still take great satisfaction in our capacity to perform radiography for you whenever and wherever you require it. After a thorough search, we discovered a novel technology known as a Gekko that combines TFM and Advanced Phased Array into a single package. The world's most cutting-edge PAUT technology is the Gekko. At its core is TFM, or Total Focus Methodology, a special capacity to offer three-dimensional imaging, real-time reporting, and much improved defect resolution.
Several Buffalo technicians received certification in the internationally recognized PCN Level II PAUT course this past fall from the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing using the Gekko. Buffalo hosted the first Gekko PCN training and certification in North America in our Edmonton facilities.
In order to enable integrity digs and corrosion testing of flanges, valves, and compressor bottles, we have now installed Gekkos in every location.
