TaurUS

Drone carrier Embedded Wall Thickness measurer

• Industrial-grade drone
• Measure precision : 0.1mm / Position precision : 1 cm.
• Enhanced safety : Propulsion + Power Redundancy
• One-Purpose electronical collision prevention
• S1, S2, S3 flights approval

TaurUS is a remote operated system designed to proceed ultrasonic wall thickness measurement (UTM) on hard-to-reach areas.

This solution has been conceived to allow every Inspection Company or Asset Owner to perform certified thickness measures in dangerous sites.

TaurUS Creators :

PILGRIM TECHNOLOGY is a inspection company approved by BUREAU VERITAS, LLOYDS, VELOSI, TUV, APAVE, SGS, DNV-GL and 11 other certification organizations, working for BP, SHELL, TOTAL, PETROBRAS, QATAR PETROLEUM, TECHNIP, for major projects such as SDA, KAOMBO, KARYAGA, DJENO, MARTIN LINGE, EGINA, SARB, UMM LULU, PRELUDE, ...

Simultaneously, PILGRIM TECHNOLOGY put in profits their offshore experience to build an UAV manufacturing company, called EAGLE VIEW.

EAGLE VIEW manufactures multiple drones including heavy-carriers, used for inovative applications for ENGIE, IVORIAN REFINING COMPANY, MACDERMOTT, etc.

ROBOPLANET is a 17 years old company specialized in robotics & NDT. The company has developed several price-awarded new products like HERMINE, "significant breakthrough in wall thickness measurement" (BUREAU VERITAS), and ALTISCAN, a rugged magnetic wall climber used by SGS, MISTRAS, THE FRENCH WELDING INSTITUTE, ONET TECHNOLOGIES & leading control companies.

TaurUS is the combination of the field-proven heavy carrier of PILGRIM TECHNOLOGY, and the robotized ultrasonic system developed by ROBOPLANET.

This solution can rely on years of iterative upgrades and reviews.

TaurUS is the industrial drone for fast ultrasonic inspection of chimneys, oil tanks, ships, and other remote access structures.
