Echo Shear Wave Couplant by Echo Ultraonics!

A high viscosity flowable couplant having sufficient bulk and shear modules at ambient temperatures to support the coupling of shear waves and guided waves. Echo Shear Wave ultrasonic couplant transmits normal incidence (zero degree) shear waves, is water-soluble and easily applied and removed.

A small amount of Echo Shear Wave Couplant should be placed on the face of the transducer or the test piece and then pressed into a thin layer. For optimum coupling, it is important that the couplant layer be thin.

Couples shear wave and guided wave.
Echo Shear Wave Couplant is water soluble and easily removed with wet or dry wiping or water wash.
Contains no VOCs, naptha, oil, hydrocarbons, glycerin, glycols, silicones, petroleum distillates, dyes or fragrance.
