The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) has announced a strategic collaboration with the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation (CNDE) at Lowa State University (LSU) as a sponsor. This partnership signifies a significant milestone in advancing research and development in the field of inspection and sensing technologies.

Neal J. Couture, CAE, ASNT Chief Executive Officer, stated, "ASNT's sponsorship directly contributes to advancing CNDE's mission objectives, creating a symbiotic relationship that benefits ASNT, CNDE, and the wider nondestructive testing and evaluation (NDT&E) community. This collaboration underscores ASNT's unwavering commitment to propel the field of non-destructive testing forward, showcasing our dedication to championing research, education, and innovation through collaborative partnerships with an esteemed institution such as CNDE."

CNDE, a dedicated research organisation, focuses on both fundamental and applied science, technology, and engineering know-how. The Centre plays a crucial role in shaping the future of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) through its mission to be the preeminent national leader in these domains.

Reza Zoughi, PhD, CNDE Director, expressed, "ASNT and CNDE have long served the NDT&E community. ASNT and CNDE have a strong history of collaboration, and I look forward to building upon this history to strengthen the relationship between our organisations further. By becoming a CNDE sponsor, I look forward to working with ASNT to bring about significant benefits for the broader NDT&E industry."

ASNT, in actively promoting, developing, and guiding a national agenda for the future of NDE, will engage with CNDE through its position serving on CNDE’s Industrial Advisory Board (IAB). The IAB, comprising a diverse array of industrial and governmental organisations, collaborates closely with CNDE scientists, faculty members, engineers, and students.
