Position Summary:

The Asset Integrity Engineer will be responsible for executing Asset Integrity projects within the oil and gas industry. The role involves supporting Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and Remaining Life Assessment (RLA) studies, conducting corrosion and failure analysis, evaluating inspection effectiveness, interpreting metallurgical data, and ensuring compliance with applicable international standards. The position requires field-based work at industrial plants within the energy and environmental technology sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Asset Integrity projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Provide technical inputs for Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and Remaining Life Assessment (RLA) studies.
  • Perform corrosion analysis and failure analysis of various components.
  • Assess the effectiveness of previous inspection methods and recommend appropriate inspection methods based on identified damage mechanisms.
  • Collect and analyze project technical specifications issued by oil and gas companies.
  • Review and apply relevant international standards during project execution.
  • Interpret metallurgical data collected during analysis studies and prepare technical reports.
  • Identify damage mechanisms and determine the causes of damage, corrosion, or failure in equipment and components.
  • Support asset integrity assessments for industrial facilities.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of assets used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of damage mechanisms affecting industrial equipment.
  • Experience in corrosion analysis and failure analysis.
  • Ability to interpret metallurgical data and prepare technical reports.

Well-versed in international standards including:

  • API 510
  • API 570
  • API 571
  • API 579
  • API 580
  • API 653

Requirements:

  • Experience in Asset Integrity projects.
  • Ability to provide technical inputs for RBI and RLA studies.
  • Ability to evaluate inspection methodologies and their effectiveness.
  • Ability to identify the root causes of damage, corrosion, and equipment failure.
  • Willingness to perform field-based work.
