Entry Level NDT Assistant

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants for a nested, full-time embedded role in the Lima, OH area. Working guaranteed 40-hour workweeks (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), the assistant will work directly alongside certified Radiographers and NDT Technicians to carry out quality inspections, set up equipment, and document testing results.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various non-destructive testing tools and machinery under direct supervision.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT inspection equipment per technical guidelines.
• Assist in performing non-destructive evaluations to detect material discontinuities or structural defects.
• Record, compile, and organize inspection data and evaluation results.
• Carry equipment, maintain workspace organization, and perform support operations across client facilities.
• Perform additional operational duties as requested by team leaders.

Qualifications Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks to meet "Trustworthy & Reliable" regulatory standards.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Driving record compliant with company insurance standards.
• Ability to pass client-mandated hair follicle drug testing and alcohol screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical or mechanical background.
• Some college education or technical coursework.
