Position Summary:-
Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants for a NESTED role in the Lima, Ohio area. The position is a full-time embedded role with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
The NDT Assistant will support NDT operations by assisting with equipment calibrations, performing nondestructive tests and evaluations, and recording inspection results. The role will work according to written instructions and support acceptance or rejection determinations.
Responsibilities:-
- Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment.
- Assist Radiographers with the calibration of NDT equipment.
- Assist Radiographers in conducting tests to ensure quality and detect discontinuities or defects using NDT inspection methods.
- Record inspection results.
- Assist with performing NDT procedures, including carrying equipment and supporting other operations.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:-
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some college education is preferred.
- Technical background is desired.
- Must have the experience, credentials, and history required to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable in compliance with federal and state regulations, as determined through a thorough background check.
- Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards for operating company vehicles.
- Must be able to pass hair follicle, alcohol, and background screening requirements in accordance with client requirements.
