Entry Level NDT Assistant

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants for its operations in Cincinnati, OH. The role divides operational duties equally between a laboratory setting (50%) and local site callouts (50%). The position assists certified technicians and Radiographers in setting up tools, calibrating equipment, executing NDT inspections, and logging evaluation results in accordance with written criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and transport Nondestructive Testing tools and testing gear.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment prior to inspection tasks.
• Support lead personnel in conducting quality control tests to identify defects using various NDT methods.
• Record, document, and maintain inspection findings accurately.
• Assist in overall NDT operational setup and carry out additional work-related tasks designated by management.

Qualifications Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean motor vehicle driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Clearance on client-mandated drug/alcohol screenings and comprehensive background checks.
• Ability to pass federal and state checks to receive Trustworthy & Reliable certification status.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college education.
• Prior technical background or coursework.
