Entry Level NDT Assistant

Position Summary:-

Acuren is seeking an Entry-Level NDT Assistant to support operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a callout/travel position.

The NDT Assistant will support NDT activities by assisting with equipment calibration, nondestructive testing, evaluations, and the recording of inspection results according to written instructions. The role will also involve supporting Radiographers during NDT activities and performing related field operations.

Responsibilities:-

• Set up and utilize nondestructive test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers with the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in conducting tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT inspection methods.
• Record inspection results.
• Assist with NDT procedures, including carrying equipment and supporting other field operations.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:-

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college education is preferred.
• A technical background is desired.
• Ability to have the experience, credentials, and history necessary to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
• Ability to meet the company's motor vehicle driving record standards for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol and background screening according to client requirements.
