AeroNDT 2026 - The 15th International Symposium on NDT in Aerospace
AeroNDT 2026 – the 15th International Symposium on NDT in Aerospace will be held in Hyderabad, India, from 14–17 November 2026, jointly with NDE 2026. The joint conference will focus on Aerospace and Defence, bringing together researchers, aerospace industry professionals, NDT specialists, manufacturers, and technology developers to discuss advances in inspection and evaluation technologies.
Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation (NDT&E) is critical throughout the lifecycle of aerospace structures. Aerospace components undergo stringent NDT quality assurance procedures during manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance, while periodic inspection is essential for damage-tolerant aircraft design and continued operational safety.
The symposium provides a platform for discussing advanced NDT technologies and their potential application in aerospace. Particular attention is given to emerging materials such as carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites and ceramics, as well as advanced manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing, which introduce new challenges in material characterization, manufacturing quality, reliability, and inspection.
AeroNDT was established in 2008 and has been organized on a nearly annual basis since 2010 at major aerospace locations worldwide, including Hamburg, Montreal, Augsburg, Singapore, Madrid, Bremen, Bengaluru, Xiamen, Dresden, Paris, Williamsburg, and Busan.
