ATYRAU OIL&GAS 2027

The 24th North Caspian Regional Exhibition "Atyrau Oil and Gas" will take place from 7–9 April 2027 at the Exhibition Center, 79 Abulkhair Khan Avenue, Atyrau, Kazakhstan. The event is a major regional gathering for the oil and gas industry and holds particular significance due to Atyrau's strategic position within Kazakhstan's energy sector.

The Atyrau Oil & Gas Exhibition provides a platform for companies and industry professionals to connect, showcase technologies, and explore opportunities within one of Kazakhstan's most important oil and gas regions. The event has established itself as a unique industry exhibition in the Atyrau region.

Atyrau is home to several of Kazakhstan's major oil and gas assets, including the Kashagan and Tengiz fields. The Kashagan field is located in the northern part of the Caspian Sea within Kazakhstan's territorial waters and covers an area of approximately 75 × 45 km, with original oil in place estimated at around 4.5 billion tonnes.

The Tengiz field, located approximately 350 km southeast of Atyrau, is one of the world's deepest producing oil fields, with its upper oil-bearing reservoir situated at a depth of approximately 4,000 metres.

Atyrau is widely recognized as the "Oil Capital of Kazakhstan" and is a member of the World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP), an international network connecting major oil and energy capitals.

The region also has a substantial industrial base, with more than 600 medium- and large-scale enterprises. These companies account for approximately 24% of Kazakhstan's industrial output, with more than 30% involving foreign participation. The region has also attracted significant capital investment, with investments reaching 1.4 trillion tenge in 2015, including approximately 847 billion tenge in external investments.

The exhibition therefore provides an important meeting point for companies operating across oil and gas exploration, production, processing, energy, industrial equipment, engineering, maintenance, inspection, and related technologies, particularly those seeking opportunities in Kazakhstan's strategically important energy market.
