Course Content:

• Introduction: Provide an overview of Penetrant Inspection (PT), its advantages and limitations, and its importance in various industries.
• Principles of PT: Cover the basic principles of PT, including surface preparation, application of penetrants, development of indications, and interpretation of test results.
• Equipment: Discuss the various equipment and tools used in PT, such as penetrant materials, cleaning agents, inspection booths, and UV lamps.
• Testing Techniques: Provide an overview of the various testing techniques used in PT, including visible and fluorescent methods.
• Standards and Specifications: Discuss the relevant industry standards and specifications for PT, such as CP 105, EN 25017, ASNT, BINDT, SNT-TC-1A, EN4179, and NAS410.
• Interpretation of Test Results: Describe the methods used to interpret test results and the criteria used to determine acceptability.
• Safety Precautions: Emphasize the importance of safety precautions during PT, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper ventilation, and handling of equipment and chemicals.
• Quality Control: Discuss the importance of quality control in PT, including calibration of equipment, verification of materials, and monitoring of testing processes.

Course Structure:

• The course should be structured to include both theoretical and practical components to ensure that candidates have a solid understanding of the PT process and can apply this knowledge in real-world situations.
