About Daniel Kanzler
Dr. Daniel Kanzler has dedicated over 15 years to the field of reliability evaluation for non-destructive testing (NDT) systems. His career began at GE Sensing and Inspection Technologies, specializing in ultrasonic testing, all the while completing his diploma and master's thesis on the topic of reliability. Subsequently, he continued this work at the Federal Institute of Material Testing and Research in Berlin. In 2016, Dr. Kanzler established the consulting company "Applied Validation of NDT," providing support to international companies on NDT/E reliability. Since 2017, he has held the position of Chairman of the International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT) Specialist Group on ”NDT Reliability”.
Furthermore, since September 2022, he has assumed the leadership of the standardization committee NA 068-08-28 under DIN, focusing on the "Qualification of testing methods." Dr. Daniel Kanzler's extensive experience and leadership roles underscore his significant contributions to advancing the reliability and standards within the field of non-destructive testing.
