According to SNT-TC-1A, an ASNT NDT Level III shall be employed or retained to provide guidance and oversight for the training, qualification and certification of the NDT level I and II candidates being trained for certification to level II status.

Person who has continuous experienced in the method certifying requires only Specific Examination on updated codes commonly used e.g. ASME BPVC Section V, ASTM and Etc. But for person who don’t have continuous experienced shall be examined in Specific and Practical examination before certification renewal.”
