MY-8P Portable Magnetic Yoke

I. Brief Description

MY-8Pmagnetic-particle detector is a new type magnetic particle fault localization equipment designed and produced by our Company independently after utilizing the advantages of its counterparts at home and abroad. Magnetization by additional magnetic field renders the detector small in size and light in weight. Highly integrated circuit makes one device perform all the functions of several ones.

Selection of functions:

  • A type probe: also named horseshoe magnetic yoke probe or fillet weld probe, turning joint angular magnetic head, which is fitted with a working lamp and is especially suitable for fault detection of work pieces with abnormal face and complicated shape. Polar distance: 20-160㎜;lifting power: AC≥5㎏,DC≥18㎏;weight : 1㎏. The equipment made by using this probe is referred to as horseshoe magnetic yoke detector or fillet weld detector. The probe finds wide application as it uses the turning joint.
  • D type probe: also called electromagnetic yoke probe with various turning joints and great magnetization strength. PowerCart-2000A Portable Magnetic Yoke

Description
The equipment is used for magnetic particle inspection over parts of different shapes made of iron magnetic materials to discover any cracks, enclosed slag and other different particle defects on the surface and subsurface of parts due to such reasons as casting, forging, quenching, grinding, fatigue, etc.

The equipment can carry out AC and DC magnetization and AC automatic demagnetization on parts and can be used for continual and magnetic inspection at a fixed place or at site. With appropriate methods such as pole support or winding, abnormal positions of parts can be properly magnetized and sectional inspection can also be carried out on parts of large sizes.

By adjusting the SCR conduction angle, the circuit can control the magnetization and demagnetization current. AC magnetization can control the power-off phase and stabilize the residual magnetic. Being controlled with the integrated circuit, the equipment is safe and reliable in operation. The equipment is featured for small size, light weight, portable and easy operating.

MPI-4000A Fluorescent Magnetic-Particle Inspection System is semi-automatic bench type fluorescent magnetic-particle crack detection equipment. It is mainly composed of magnetization power source, electrical control system, clamping and magnetization system, transport system, magnetic suspension spray & recovery system, fluorescence lamp and inspection room. It is specially used for detecting minute defects and/or discontinuities by the wet magnetic-particle method on the tooth’s surface and near-surface arising from such factors as poor materials, forging, casting, quenching, processing and material fatigue.

The equipment adopts two operation modes: manual and automatic mode and is controlled centrally by Simens programmable logic control(PLC). Under manual mode single-step operation of each function can be carried out; under automatic mode, the equipment will automatically perform the internal program of PLC. The process: manual loading→automatic transport → automatic spraying → automatic combined magnetization → manual inspection. AC magnetization source is equipped with power failure phase control and has higher stability of residual magnetism, which can be used in fault detection by both the continuous method and residual magnetism method. Combined magnetization can create an overlapped field on a work piece and display magnetic track once only with higher detection efficiency.

Fluorescent Magnetic-Particle Inspection Equipment is semi-automatic bench type fluorescent magnetic-particle crack detection equipment. It is mainly composed of several parts, including magnetization power source, electric control system, clamping and moving devices, magnetic suspension spray & recycle system, fluorescence lamp, demagnetization system and dark room. It is specially used for detecting defects and/or discontinuities by the wet magnetic-particle method on couplings’ surface and near-surface arising from such factors as poor materials, forging, casting, quenching, processing and fatigue.

The equipment adopts two operation modes: manual and automatic mode and is controlled centrally by Simens programmable logic control(PLC). Under manual mode single-step operation of each function can be carried out; under automatic mode, the equipment will automatically perform the internal program of PLC. When a work piece is put in place on holders, central conductor (threader bar) will be clamped pneumatically (or electrically on request) by the automatic program implementing semi-automatic operations of,spraying, combined magnetization, rotation for observation, demagnetization, and pneumatic release and unloading. AC magnetization is equipped with power failure phase control and has higher stability of residual magnetism, which can beused in fault detection by both the continuous method and residual magnetism method. Combined magnetization can create an overlapped field on a work piece and display magnetic track once only with higher detection efficiency.

MPW-8000A Fluorescent Magnetic-Particle Inspection System is semi-automatic bench type fluorescent magnetic-particle crack detection equipment. It is mainly composed of magnetization power source, electrical control system, clamping and magnetization system, transport system, magnetic suspension spray & recovery system, fluorescence lamp and inspection room. It is specially used for detecting minute defects and/or discontinuities by the wet magnetic-particle method on the tooth’s surface and near-surface arising from such factors as poor materials, forging, casting, quenching, processing and material fatigue.

The equipment adopts two operation modes: manual and automatic mode and is controlled centrally by Simens programmable logic control(PLC). Under manual mode single-step operation of each function can be carried out; under automatic mode, the equipment will automatically perform the internal program of PLC. The process: manual loading→automatic transport → automatic spraying → automatic combined magnetization → manual inspection. AC magnetization source is equipped with power failure phase control and has higher stability of residual magnetism, which can be used in fault detection by both the continuous method and residual magnetism method. Combined magnetization can create an overlapped field on a work piece and display magnetic track once only with higher detection efficiency.
