Products & Services
Phased Array Ultrasound
Non-destructive testing technology that employs the physical principles of conventional ultrasound and promotes the optimization of its resources through electronic controls of separate elements in a single structure, which pulse individually forming a mosaic of crystals, enabling changes in the sonic beam. Typically, pulses are generated in groups of elements to improve sensitivity, increasing or reducing the beam opening which allows better beam focusing.
TOFD ultrasound
Technique used to detect and size internal discontinuities in the material, which is based on the physical principle of diffraction of ultrasonic waves. The inspection is computerized and allows acquisition and recording of inspected data, the images generated are presented in shades of gray and the weld volume is inspected in a single scan. This technique is very efficient in detecting and sizing cracks, regardless of their guidance.
Penetrating liquid
The Liquid Penetrant test is considered one of the best test methods for detecting surface discontinuities in materials free of porosity, such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminium, metallic alloys, ceramics, glass, certain types of plastics or organosynthetic materials.
