MarShield’s specialized services include in house Precision 3D and CNC Machining of lead parts and lead plates utilizing state of the art equipment and the latest CAD-CAM software. We produce custom lead precision machined parts for the Medical, Communications and Aerospace industries – including guidance systems, RDT security, satellite systems and all aspects of Government defense.

MarShield produces radiation protection products for a variety of industries, two of which being homeland security and national defence. Our selection of products can be used to shield sensitive components as well as the equipment operator from x-rays emitted by personnel protection scanners, cargo inspection systems, industrial x-ray systems, Radioactive Threat Detection (RDT) systems and others.

Our high quality Sheet Lead is manufactured from pure lead conforming to ASTM B-29, B-749 and Federal QQ-L-201F, QQ-L-171E.Since lead sheeting has very little inherent structural strength, most applications require that the sheet lead be supported in some fashion, or that the lead sheet be laminated to provide a more rigid building material. MarShield provides sheet lead as laminated lead panels, adhesive bonded to materials such as plywood (lead lined plywood), gypsum board (lead lined drywall), and other supporting materials.

MarShield lead brick shielding provides the best choice for construction where temporary, permanent shields or storage areas are required, offering you the flexibility in your design and construction choices. Lead bricks are ideal for adding additional shielding to existing rooms and can be used in new construction as a method to reduce wall or ceiling thickness to achieve space savings. Our high purity lead bricks are ideal for shielding effectiveness where maximum protection is required from X-Ray and Gamma Ray radiation.
