Ultrasonic probes are coupled to the surface of the test object using special coupling agents. The couplant prevents an air gap from forming between the probe and the test object, which would prevent the sound from entering the test object.
Coupling pastes developed by HELLING can be washed off with water. The content of sulfur and halogens is below 50 ppm. They contain corrosion inhibitors and bactericides.
The coupling pastes are available in different colors and for different temperature ranges .
Larger delivery quantities are also available on request.
