X-ray is a powerful technology for sorting and grading of minerals, according to size or composition. Dual-energy X-ray technology enables ore to be graded and sorted according to its composition.
Steel cord conveyor belts are widely used in mines, seaports, construction and cement plants. These belts may operate continuously at high speeds, carrying heavy loads over long distances. Conveyor belt breakages are very costly, often resulting in heavy damage and even loss of life. X-ray technology enables the automatic and continuous inspection of conveyor belts to give warning of belt damage which could lead to breakage.

The X-Scan ME is equipped with a precise sensor gap and alignment control, and VHF (very high flux) configuration. The series is powered by unique X-Card ME3 XC detector boards that feature doubled photon-counting capability compared to the previous board generation. In addition to multi-energy mode, the X-Scan ME has an effective energy range of 20 to 160 keV with configurable photon counting modes for making it easy to utilize the advantages of powerful multi-energy technology for multi-purpose scanning needs.

X-Scan F series is a product family of high-resolution X-ray linear array detectors designed for accurate and fast-paced quality inspection, and the grading and sorting of raw materials. X-Scan F series minimizes the waste of materials and money, and reduces the throughput time especially in the recycling, mining, sawmilling and food processing industries.

X-Scan P series is optimized from low to middle energy ranges of 40-110 kVp. The plug-and-play type series comes in 0.4 and 0.8mm pixel pitches, with a standard 614mm length. Also other lengths available with short lead times. Benefiting from the next-generation digital platform, and Gigabit Ethernet interface, X-Scan P series supports belt speeds of up to 4m/s. An optional Camera Link offers robust data transmission, and fast synchronization between the detector unit and a system computer.
