The increasing integration of wireless and network technologies is enabling the rise of new connectivity services in the current generation of vehicles. Today, many of the new vehicles come equipped with on-board computers, services based on mobile technologies, such as eCall and other types of assistants. In the not too distant future, the connectivity of new vehicles will increase comfort and safety, even more if possible, but at the same time it will mean additional requirements in terms of testing and certification.
