Modern NDT for Aging Infrastructure
This webinar will explore the various NDT technologies used in infrastructure inspection, the integration and analysis of data, and the future prospects for the industry.
Description:
With infrastructure ageing both in the U.S. and globally, bridge closures and failures are increasingly common. However, advancements in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) technologies and data analysis are starting to address the backlog of deteriorating structures. New funding opportunities for infrastructure projects have also enabled greater integration of NDT into bridge management plans. This webinar will explore the various NDT technologies used in infrastructure inspection, the integration and analysis of data, and the future prospects for the industry.
Key Takeaways:
- Understand the challenges encountered during bridge inspections.
- Evaluate different NDT methods for bridges and determine their suitability for specific bridge elements.
- Learn about data fusion and its application in bridge maintenance, repair, and management to obtain actionable insights.
