Hitachi PMI-MASTER Smart Portable Spectrometer

Spark mobile optical emission spectrometers (OES) are designed to deliver precise and comprehensive chemistry analysis of critical alloy elements with low detection limits, outperforming handheld X-ray and LIBS analyzers. These spectrometers are particularly effective for detecting elements such as carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, boron, arsenic, and tin in low alloy and stainless steels, as well as nitrogen in duplex steels.

Due to their high accuracy and reliability, spark OES is the preferred method worldwide for creating and verifying mill testing reports (MTRs). Hitachi High-Tech’s PMI-MASTER Smart OES analyzer, manufactured in Germany, exemplifies the portability and versatility of modern OES technology.

Its lightweight and compact design makes it ultra-portable, allowing it to be easily used in various environments, whether at height, in confined spaces like ditches, material inspection areas, or in laboratory settings. These spectrometers are built to meet the most stringent PMI metallurgical alloy chemistry testing requirements, including API 5L, ASME section IX B& PV, ISO 17025, and A2LA standards. This makes them indispensable tools for industries where accurate alloy analysis is critical for safety and compliance, ensuring that users can trust the results from the first analysis.
