Mi-Glow® WCP is a specially formulated, fast-drying, opaque, and non-reflective white contrast paint, ideal for creating a consistent high-contrast background on inspection surfaces during wet method nonfluorescent (visible) magnetic particle inspections. This paint is designed to dry quickly before magnetic particle testing, which enhances the probability of defect detection and ensures that inspections are conducted efficiently. Its bright white, opaque appearance and strong adhesion provide a reliable contrast, making it an excellent choice for use with Mi-Glow® 106, CircleSafe® 820a wet method magnetic particles, or Sir-Chem® dry method powders 63, 66, 68, and Black.
Mi-Glow® WCP features an ergonomic spray nozzle designed to reduce hand and finger fatigue during prolonged use. The spray nozzle has been carefully selected to ensure optimal performance, providing a smooth and consistent application without runs, bubbles, or poor paint coverage. This ensures a uniform and reliable contrast background, which is crucial for effective magnetic particle inspections.
For complete traceability, the bottom of each can of Mi-Glow® WCP is labeled with a batch number, can number, date of manufacture, and expiration date. Users can download batch certificates from the CircleSafe® website by entering the batch number into the certificate code search box. Mi-Glow® WCP is versatile and can be used with any of the Mi-Glow®, CircleSafe®, and Sir-Chem® visible magnetic particle materials, making it an essential tool for non-destructive testing (NDT).
