STOCKELSDORF, Germany – July 2, 2024 – VisiConsult has announced that as of July 1, 2024, its VCsecurity business has been acquired by Scanna, a market leader in portable security X-ray systems. The asset deal includes all assets and rights associated with VCsecurity, including technology rights for the security sector. VisiConsult will now concentrate on its rapidly growing industrial Nondestructive Testing (NDT) solutions division.
In alignment with its corporate values, VisiConsult will continue to support current customers with services and honour any warranty obligations. Moving forward, Scanna will provide all new portable X-ray inspection systems for the Public Safety & Security sector. In the German market, VisiConsult will coordinate with Scanna to provide solutions for new customers from counter-IED operations, customs and border protection, prisons, and counter-surveillance.
