ViewTech Borescopes has introduced the 3D Measurement VJ-4 Video Borescope, expanding its remote visual inspection (RVI) portfolio with advanced 3D measurement capabilities that enable inspectors to capture accurate dimensional measurements during inspections without requiring component disassembly.
Designed to improve inspection accuracy and support faster maintenance decisions, the new VJ-4 combines high-definition imaging with integrated 3D measurement technology, allowing maintenance professionals to evaluate defects in real time while minimizing equipment downtime.
The video borescope is available in 3.9 mm and 6.0 mm diameters, with both front-view and side-view configurations, making it suitable for a broad range of inspection applications across aerospace, aviation, power generation, manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, and industrial maintenance sectors.
For the non-destructive testing (NDT) industry, the system enables inspectors to accurately assess corrosion, cracks, erosion, weld defects, foreign object damage (FOD), coating loss, and other critical anomalies without dismantling equipment. The integrated measurement functionality enhances inspection reliability while improving documentation and maintenance planning.

The system also features mini joystick controls, full HD camera resolution, and compatibility with the Borescope Report Maker—Operator Driven Inspections (ODIN) software to support efficient generation of professional inspection reports.
